About Us

We are a group of self taught artists who have the passion to get better with our skills every single day. We offer our services in freelance graphic design, creative logos, CD covers, web development, and photography. Our main focus lies in wedding and engagement shoots. Our style is a combination of creative artistry and journalism. Being mindful of the details along the way, in our humble opinion, is one of the many important keys to a successful shoot. Candid shots are often the heart and soul of every wedding album therefore we like to blend in with the crowd so we can see different elements from a unique perspective. Whether it be lying on the floor, standing on a ledge, or balancing on a ladder we try every means necessary to get to that “sweet spot”. With every click of the button, we do our best to capture that “magic moment” when everything else come to a peaceful halt. Wedding events should be an unforgettable occasion for celebration thus we make sure that the memories we capture are ones that our clients will cherish for a very long time. You have a story to tell, let us capture the details! Charmaine Her passion in world travel was cultivated while growing up in West Africa. As a result, her deep interest in photography came natural as she was surrounded by raw wildlife all of her life. 1997 was the year when Charmaine dipped her fingers into the colorful world of photography. She believes in the saying that goes, “There is a photographer in all of us!”An event planner and interior designer by heart Charmaine is the one who organizes and keeps everything in place. Her enthusiasm as well as dedication are evidenced by her close attention to details. Party favors, wedding invitations, and budgeting skills are not a problem. Therefore multi tasking is a breeze whenever the situation calls for it. If you don’t see her carrying a camera with a huge white lens on it you will find her peering over her viewfinder and taking macro shots of some scrupulous object. Lovely The group’s creative visionary. Lovely is constantly cooking up some tricky angle behind the camera. Her experience in detail planning as well as creative thinking is an asset to this group. Darkroom film processing is what got her started in the photography field back in 1994. She recalls a tiny “shack” of a dark room from high school. However, this high school happens to be situated in one of the most beautiful countries on earth . . . Kenya, East Africa. Thus the opportunity to capture copious amounts of breath taking scenic shots was readily available. Lovely enjoys documenting a day’s event with her camera as well as travelling to new places in order to experience different cultures. Her enthusiasm with photography was fueled hotter when she first got her Canon Elan 7E SLR in the spring of 2003. However, Canon’s 5D DSLR ushered her into the world of digital photography. Ultimately, all of these led to the birth of more scenic road trips! No one really knows where Lovely might end up next.
Marvin
After graduating from high school in 1998, a university professor mentored him as he developed his "techy" skills. This led him to pursue a career in computer science. After graduating from University, Marvin went on to tackle different tasks in several non profit organizations; some of which were located in Europe, Africa, and Asia. Setting foot in more than twenty countries, international and local travel is a must for this web developer. Proficient in conversational French, Marvin has worked in several French speaking countries and therefore has landed several freelance jobs. Travel and photography usually come hand in hand thus Marvin also developed a keen interest in the trade. He thrives in polishing his skills through web development. If he’s not doing technical jobs he likes to spend some of his free time singing in the local Procantus Lyric Opera.
Merck Interests in photography started in 1995 when his dad bought a Nikon F90 SLR during a family trip to Singapore. This hobby came to a temporary halt in the fall of 1997 when that same camera was stolen on a trip to Zimbabwe. However, In 2004 he re-entered the world of photography for the second time (starting from scratch) with the release of Canon’s 20D DSLR. Broke as ever, he has since been shooting every opportunity he gets. Suspending that “meaningful snapshot”, significant to his clients, is his aim when he is behind the camera. Merck believes that the path towards “that perfect shot” is teeming with details! Whenever he is not fiddling with cameras, you will find him in front of a computer creating web design concepts and illustrations, cooking delectable dishes in the kitchen, playing tennis, spending time with his lovely wife or at the hospital getting stressed over his day job. “Yes, we all have day jobs!” –Merck
