Kamuzu Mkangomayi of Nyasaland

So our very own Bambobush has been lonely lately. Every day he looks at me with such sad face and says, “I do appreciate the play time and all the love that you give to me but please oh please could I have another playmate with the likes of me? No offense but I think another dog to dog interaction is not such a bad idea sometimes don’t ya think?” “Okay Bambo.” I told him. Who cannot resist that cute face looking at you day in and day out? A companion for Bambo! That’s what he needed! So our search began for our very own Bambobush’s lifelong playmate! Days turned to weeks and so on and so forth. Finally, we discovered the perfect pup for our Bambobush. Nestled on a hill at a beautiful ranch called An Aisling located in Red Rock, TX we have at last found Bambobush’s GFF (Girl Friend Forever). After several friendly talks with the breeder we set out on a journey, with Bambobush of course, to see if this particular pup will accept us with open paws. Long story short . . . SHE DID! And we totally fell in love with her cute eyes, big paws, and her hyperactiveness! She is so adorable! We present to you,, for the very first time, the new addition to our ever so growing family. Hailing from Red Rock, TX we proudly present . . . drum roll pwease . . . Kamuzu Mkangomayi of Nyasaland! Strange name? Lemme explain . . . KAMUZU - in honor of our first president of Malawi, East Africa (yes I grew up there). MKANGO - means Lion in Chichewa our official language in Malawi. MAYI - means Mother/Miss/Mrs./Madamme. NYASALAND - is the former name of Malawi and the name of our little place here in Texas. Well, we call her Mayi (Mah-Yee) for short.

*applause*

. . . several weeks later Bambo and Mayi are inseperable as ever. As I write this blog they are both exhausted from the days play and are sleeping side by side on my bed. Yes they are good good friends and they have each other forever!

Last week we took some shots of our new family member and of course our Bambobush. So here they are. Their most recent photo session, SumoArts style. Enjoy!
